Middleton in Lonsdale is a picturesque village set in the Lune valley between the book town of Sedbergh to the North and Kirkby Lonsdale to the South.  Middleton is  a gateway to both the Lake District National Park to the west and Yorkshire Dales National Park to the North and East, with excellent links to the nearby M6 motorway.  

 

Middleton has a thriving community with a number of small businesses, and this website is currently being developed by the parish council to provide information about what is happening in the area for locals and visitors alike.  

 

This website aims to provide an opportunity for people in Middleton to showcase what they are doing, and share the history and information about the village with a wider audience.
